This Declaration shall not affect the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland within the framework of the Protocol integrating the Schengen acquis into the framework of the European Union and the Protocol on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty establishing the European Community. Nor does this declaration affect Denmark`s position within the framework of the Protocol on the position of Denmark annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty establishing the European Community. In accordance with Article 299, that declaration shall also not apply to the territories of the Member States where that Treaty is not applicable and shall not affect acts or positions adopted by the Member States concerned on behalf of and in the interest of those territories under the Protocol.
